5 pre wedding day tips to reduce wedding day stress

Wedding days are fun, emotional, and even exhausting. Here are five things you can do the day before to help ease the stress and anxiety of your wedding day.

1.) Disconnect

Most of us feel a little bit naked without our cellphones on hand, but that doesn’t mean that we actually need them. Disconnect for the day and you’ll be amazed by the number of things you’re missing out on. There are so many benefits to recharging your batteries before the wedding day.

2.) Visit with Family and Friends

If you have family that has traveled from out of state to come to your wedding, take the time to visit with them! Sharing laughs with your favorite cousin or seeing an old friend will definitely help relax those pre wedding nerves. They’ll appreciate the time spent together and so will you!

3.) Don’t drink too much

Pretty self explanatory… It’s okay to grab a beer or two, but it’s not a good idea to get wasted the night before your wedding. It’s going to be a beautiful—but long—day and nothing kills your wedding day buzz like a nagging hangover!

4.) Make sure everything you need is ready and packed

Hang up your entire outfit, make sure you have all of your final vendor payments/tips, finish writing your vows or wrapping that wedding gift, and finally put everything you need, in one place so you have everything on hand in the morning. You don’t want to waste time looking for anything the morning of your wedding..now that’s stressful.

5.) Get some beauty rest!!

You're probably nervous or excited, or both! To help make sure you get plenty of sleep and look your very best, go to bed early. You don’t want to be yawning during your vows! Your memory and stress levels will thank you, and extra energy for all the dancing during the reception.
